Contrasts and Inspiration – An Artist Reflection
Overall, my experience in Lublin was full of contrasts: historical and contemporary, polished and raw, planned and improvised. Maybe that’s precisely what made it so real. I left with a few new contacts, a few good laughs, and a renewed sense that artistic exchange doesn’t always have to be grand to be meaningful. VAP at CODA 2025
In October 2025, CODA Oslo International Dance Festival welcomed a group of international artists to Oslo as part of the Visiting Artist Programme (VAP).
Over four vibrant days, the visiting artists took part in The DEN – Dance Expo Norway, a professional platform curated by CODA in collaboration with Dansens Hus, Bærum Kulturhus and Black Box Teater, with support from Performing Arts Hub Norway (PAHN).

In May 2025, Dublin became a meeting point for creativity and conversation and connection as Dublin Dance Festival welcomed six international artists to take part in the Visiting Artist Programme.
Visiting Artist Programme during One Dance Festival
Eight international contemporary dance artists participated in the Visiting Artist Programme encounter at One Dance Festival this May, which offered creative exchange, training and professional development. It took place between May 22 and 24 May 2025, during the first long weekend of Edition No. 17 of the festival, with the support of the Municipality of Plovdiv, and gathered a diverse group of dance artists – choreographers, performers and lecturers.
